FAQ

We realize you may be going through a difficult time and may have many questions. Please read this list of Frequently Asked Questions to get some fast answers. If you still have questions, call us for immediate assistance.

Q: I've just sustained damage due to a fire. Do I need to gut everything and rebuild everything from scratch?
A: Not necessarily. You need an expert to carefully assess the nature and extent of the damage to determine what needs reconstruction and what needs cleaning.

Q: My insurance agent is asking me a million questions and I don't know where to start. What should I do?
A: The first thing you need to do is to take a deep breath and relax. Things will get better, but it will take time. Your insurance agent needs lots of information and wants to see the damage as soon as possible. Cooperate and provide all relevant information in a timely fashion. The sooner the insurance company has what it needs, the faster you will get serviced.

Q: So many things are ruined. Do I need to call individual contractors: a plumber, electrician, carpenter, etc.? It's too much to handle!
A: All it takes is one call to ESPO, and we will coordinate everything for you and be your general contractor. This gives you only one person to contact and one person to be accountable for all other contractors.

Q: How long have you been in business and why should I trust you to help me?
A: ESPO has been in business since 1983 and has restored thousands of damaged area homes and businesses. They are responsible for commercial restoration projects ranging from the Atlas Life Building and Sand Springs Central Junior High to Sheffield Steel and Charles Schwabb in the Philtower Building. Our long and successful track record has earned us the right to ask for your business.

Q: What makes ESPO different from its competitors?
A: At ESPO, you are much more than a client number to us. We care about you during your time of need, and we will do everything in our power to reduce your stress. Our customers say that by the time we're done with a project, we're more than just a construction company -- we're their counselors and friends.

Q: How is ESPO involved in the community?
A:
Our advertising promotes the use of smoke detectors and a "safe outside meeting place" for families during a fire. We are involved in many different associations and programs including The Institute of Real Estate Management, Tulsa Apartment Association, Building Owners & Managers Association, and the Home Builders Association.

If you still need additional information, please contact us for immediate assistance. We're here to serve you.

"We loved seeing you and Delta and what fun to have a visit with so many of the men who worked on our house. We became attached to all of you and will always appreciate the beautiful job you did for us. The fire seems like a long time ago -- time truly is merciful!"
The Abernathys
Two weeks before Christmas. we lost everything in the house due to a fire. John Esposito came out the next day and walked through the house with us. I was very impressed. They bent over backwards to help us out. I could see the improvements to the house each day. ESPO's team made it comfortable. They treated me like family.

"My husband and I thought we were making a smart decision to replace our shake shingle roof with a composition one. But we didn't realize that when the decking and shingles were hammered down, our 75-year-old plaster ceiling would fall down in huge chunks. This created an awful mess. The whole ceiling had to be taken down. I had friends arriving from out of town. I learned that ESPO Construction Co. could bring in a team of plasterers, cleaners, painters, and lots more professionals who could fix the damage and clean up the mess, which had now spread throughout the house. They did what they'd said they'd do and in the time they said they'd do it. We are very grateful to ESPO Construction. They saved the day and did a great job."
